2007 - Debbie Forrest-Scurr

"I was born and bred in Central Otago by two fantastic parents, Bill and Kathy Forrest, growing up with my older sister Julie, who all still live in Alexandra. I entered the Perfect Woman competition in 2007 because it is for a great cause, a cause that touches the hearts of all of us at some time in our lives.

Over the two days of the competition, I met lots of great, friendly people, and had a fantastic time. I did things that I have never done and probably will never do again.

I have two fantastic sons, Will and Thomas, who hopefullly one day will think it is pretty cool to have a Mother who was the Perfect Woman in 2007.

Having the Perfect Woman title gave me lots of different opportunites and confidence to prove that you can do anything if you put your mind to it."

2006 - Nadia Fearnley

Nadia Fearnley is 20 years old. She grew up in Kaikoura on a farm, moved to Christchurch where she attended St Margarets College and then moved to Central Otago where she has been working in the farming sector ever since.

"When I first heard about this competition I thought it sounded like a lot of fun and I was right. As well as raising money for an extremely worthy cause which touches the lives of a lot of people, I had a fantastic couple of days and met some really neat people. Its the most fun Ive ever had with $20!!"

2004 - Sarah Gould
age 25

I was born on the West Coast and grew up on the family farm in South Canterbury.

I have always loved the land and animals, especially my horses, which I enjoy riding the Otago Goldfields Heritage Cavelcade each year.

The perfect woman competition is a great load of fun and run for a good cause. Its given me confidence especially when I was asked to be a guest speaker for two nights with Colin Meads for the Mid & South Canterbury vet club.

Any girl that enters would have a great time. An experience I wont forget.
